Can someone please tell me how to work out horse racing bets e.g If I put 6 Euros each way on a horse at 33/1

If you put 6 euros each way this normally means you would have to pay a total of 12 euros.

The bet is broken into two bets if you like, (a win bet and a place bet)

If the horse wins you receive both bets as follows

6 x 33 + 6 = 204 euros

and

6 x 33/4 +6 = 55.5 euros

= 259.5 euros

——–

If the horse comes 2nd 3rd or 4th (depending on the place payout positions of that race)

You will just win 55.5 euros
